The BMW Clubs Canada Annual General Meeting (AGM) is coming up on Saturday April 4, 2020.
The AGM was originally scheduled to take place over the weekend in Calgary Alberta and we were looking forward to seeing national directors from all the member clubs as well as hosting Julio Reyes, Vice Chair BMW Clubs International. However, with the Covid-19 pandemic turning the world upside down, we obviously cancelled the travel and social interactions of the AGM.
We are still going ahead with the AGM – but it will be done electronically (using Skype) and be much more limited (2 hours instead of a day and a half).
Please make sure to talk to your club’s national director to find out what will be on the agenda and to bring forward concerns or ideas you might have.
The AGM is an important touchpoint with all the clubs represented, a chance to review the previous year’s challenges and accomplishments and to set the stage for the rest of 2020 (at least as much can be planned taking into account the current situation).
